So my juice fast has been over for a few days and I have been eating again. Altogether I lost a total of 55 pounds! I feel really happy with that loss but still have about 50 pounds to lose. I'm half way there and closer to my goal. I feel so much better than I did on day one and can't wait to see where I am in a few months. Yesterday I bought a case of bananas and look forward to becoming a monkey. Just kidding. :) I have been eating healthy vegan foods for the most part and a couple bad foods included but I'll keep pressing on. I look back on the years passed and back then I would think what I did and am doing as crazy and unattainable. If you want to feel better, lose weight and get healthier than I urge you to do a juice fast and introduce more raw fruits and veggies into your life and I guarantee you will feel so much better! God bless!

Day 40 of 60!!!
I can't believe it's day 40!!! I'm two thirds the way there to 60 days and I can't wait. I have been feeling pretty mellow as far as the energy goes and that's great. So far I am at a weight loss of 45 pounds and feel really good about that. But let me tell you I am so ready to eat something! I can't wait to get into eating healthier raw foods. I've been wanting to eat some hummus and avocados but that will have to wait. Day one after the juice fast, in order to let my digestive system to start working stronger I will eat fruits such as apples, mangoes pineapples, kiwis and other juicy fruits. This will help my digestive system without overloading it. This also helps with your metabolism to slowly start working up to burning the calories efficiently. I'm so excited to where this is bringing me in my life. I'm ready for this change of transitioning into a raw vegan lifestyle. I'm also amazed by the number of people I'm inspiring to start a juice fast and get healthy! It makes me smile thinking I'm possibly making changes for the better in others lives and that's one of my goals in life. I hope everyone has a great Saturday! God Bless!!!

It's all downhill from here!
Hello everyone, it is day 31! I am in the second half of my 60 day juice fast already! I cannot believe how fast January flew by. I feel like dancing. Ok, maybe I won't do that, but excited nonetheless. I can definitely feel my health improving overall and I feel great. So far I have lost 39 pounds. I've been taking this day by day and so far it's been way easier than I thought it would be. Although a couple days ago I did eat a little candy and my stomach wasn't very happy with me. I've been drinking chamomile tea before I go to bed and it helps me to fall asleep. Tommorow I'm going to make a new juice for breakfast using sweet potato, carrot and ginger. I'll let you know how that tastes, delicious I'm sure. Well that's all for today folks. Remember, if you want to see a change in yourself, you've got to make a commitment! Juice on!

In the for the long haul!
It's day 19 and I'm feeling really good. Yesterday I did a water fast with lemon and again it was surprisingly easy. I felt slightly fatigued near the end of the day but other than that it was smooth sailing. I plan on every Friday doing a water fast while on my 60 day juice fast. Today for breakfast I had fruit juice consisting of 1 pineapple and 5 oranges. It was delicious!!! I'm down 30 pounds and I'm going to have to start looking in to getting some new jeans because mine are getting really loose! So do you want to make a change in your life? Want to get a healthy mind and body while losing weight and feeling great? Well I definitely recommend trying a juice fast! I hope everyone has a great day and I think I'm going to go for a walk. The suns shining and the life in me is too! God Bless!

Day 14 of my juice fast!
I'm so happy to say I've made it this far! Day 14 and feeling great! I've been pretty busy lately but this will not stop my endeavor. So the past few days I haven't really had any problems but I've started to have more bowel movements which is a good thing because I know I'm being cleaned everyday.Although on day 9 I woke up with really bad nausea until I started drinking the juice. Another thing I've noticed is that my acid reflux is gone! Praise Jesus! I have to say one thing though, doing this juice fast and actually sticking to it has definitely given me more confidence about things I can do. It shows me that I have strong will power, stronger that I thought I ever had. So this is helping me in more aspects of my life than just health. So if you feel like you want to do something important to you, just tell yourself over and over you can do it and you will finally convince yourself to make a change! I challenge anyone to make just one change in their life for the better. I promise it will make you feel that much better about yourself. God bless!

Day 6: Energy!
Update: Sorry folks for not posting my day 5 post yesterday so I'll add it today including an update for today. So today I added some watermelon juice for breakfast and into the mean green I added Swiss chard, parsley, carrots, watermelon and a couple pears. I would go easy on the Swiss chard depending on how much you can handle because the flavor of the big leaves I juiced are pretty strong! The juice was still drinkable and delicious! Weighed myself today and I am at 278. I feel great today! I think I will go for a little jog. It's cold outside but I love winter and cool weather but I wish it would snow some here in Kentucky! Anyways, I think as far as weighing myself I am just going to do that every Friday. I find myself in the bathroom on the scale a couple times a day and that can get discouraging. I want to focus on getting healthy and not focus mainly on the weight loss. By the way my jeans that I haven't wore in a while are fitting with out having to bend to stretch them! As Joe Cross from "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" would say, Juice on!
Well it's the end of day five of my 60 day juice fast and let me tell you, it is definitely a journey. I'd say more mental/emotional than physical. As far as the physical day one was pretty hard near dinner. I was so hungry but I pushed through it. The second day I was really tired and a little less hungry but had more cravings and thought I was going to lose my mind! All I could think about was pizza and burgers. But then I had to realize those mental feelings were part of the detox and made me realize how addicted to food many of us are. Day three was amazing I felt more energized then normal and felt like doing jumping jacks! Day four, while I felt energized, it wasn't as much as day three but definitely felt great. Day four went about the same as day three. For day 5 I decided to due a mono juice fast with apples. Today I went shopping and went by a juice cafe called Life Bar and had a carrot, apple, and ginger. I was definitely flushed out today, if you know what I mean! So my weight started at 290 and I now weighed in at 280! So go ahead and try a juice fast. It's really good for you and will let you feel accomplished. It doesn't have to be for 60 days. Try it for at least a week and see how it makes you feel!

Happy New Year!!!
Happy New Year Everyone! I wish everyone better health this year. So I originally planned on starting my 60 day juice fast Jan. 1st but figured I would start it a couple days ago an ended up eating some pizza yesterday. I needed to get that out and I'm back on the horse this morning to start the new year and there's no going back. No one said this would be easy, but I know it can only get easier from here! I will weigh in at the end of the week to check my weight loss progress. I've been feeling tired while juicing but know that energy will grow past the first week. I've got a big hill to climb, but I will climb it one step at a time. Cheers to 2013!!!
